Act of Kindness #2

Act of Kindness :
Buy an icecream cone for a child who won’t expect it from you -not usually given stuff by you- .
For this act of kindness I decided it would be better if I gave away Chips instead of icecream since winter is here and that would affect their health! Plus their parents would kill me if I did ☺️
On the 27th of October , I was enjoying my time on the beach , listening to music, chatting with my family and watching kids play by the beach.
At that moment it occurred to me, I could buy snacks from the store and give it away to kids playing on the beach! So I did.
One of the situations I was put in was when one of the kids didn’t want to take the chips, he refused and kept saying “no , thanks. no,thanks” I didn’t want to pressure him ofcourse so I just said thanks and went away! I guess he wasn’t hungry 😂
On the other hand, alot of kids were cheered up by the snack I gave , and they were so excited to have some after playing for a long time. Some of them were shy at first until they had the reassurance they needed from their parents .

I also became friends with three beautiful little sisters, Dana, Layan,Diala ! While I gave away chips I asked them about their names, and they introduced themselves with the cutest most precious smile ever! We talked for a bit and then I said goodbye!

Today’s act of kindness warmed my heart , and helped me get over the awkwardness I go through whenever I talk with kids.
It was a success. Hamdullah.

Act of Kindness #1

Act of kindness :
Pass out stickers for kids and watch their amusement.
On the 22nd  of October, I choose my school’s kindergarten to perform my act of kindness.
I went to one of the classes and gave away alot of stickers to the kids with a huge goofy smile on my face , I gave them the freedom of choosing whatever sticker they wanted, they all were so happy and smiley!!! Afterwards they thanked me and said their goodbyes. I felt that I gave them the world , but the truth is I only gave them stickers.
That experience made me think how children can be happy with the simplest things! I’m not a person who knows how to act with kids or how to make them happy , I try to avoid kids as much as possible, but this experience made me change my mind and made me realize that a smile on a child’s face deserves working on how to interact with them. Now I’ve learned how to interact with kids nicely.
